Your first competitive exam can be nerve-wracking. This checklist ensures you're fully prepared for everything beyond just the syllabus.
Before Exam Day
1. Print admit card (2 copies). 2. Check exam center location — visit it a day before if possible. 3. Prepare a transparent pouch: Admit card, photo ID, passport photos, pen, water bottle. 4. Sleep well the night before (at least 7 hours). 5. Set 2 alarms.
On Exam Day
1. Reach center 1 hour early. 2. Complete biometric/verification calmly. 3. Read instructions on screen carefully. 4. Don't panic if the first question is tough. 5. Follow your pre-planned attempt strategy. 6. Keep checking time after every 15 questions.
After the Exam
1. Note down questions you remember for analysis. 2. Don't discuss too much with others — it creates unnecessary anxiety. 3. Start preparing for the next stage (Mains/Interview) immediately. 4. Keep documents ready for document verification.
